Yellow pages
Will someone explain to me why the Yellow Pages (and the Classified section of the Bristol telephone directory) have a section for ‘Psychics and Clairvoyants’, but not one for ‘Churches’?

Ah ha – because we are ‘Places of Worship’. Just buildings you can go to; not spiritual communities or anything so fancy. And because more people want a clairvoyant than a church?
Well they do have a dilemma don’t they. You would want to appear under “Places of Worship” as well. My Yellow Pages has a cross-reference as does Thompson’s Local. The one that does not is The Phone Book (TM), perhaps we should write and ask them to put one in?
Maybe I had a blond moment when I was looking for church numbers earlier (I was after the number of the local Elim Church). Maybe the idea is that you phone the local clairvoyant, then ask him/her to tell you where in the book the entry for churches is… Or ask Charity!
Perhaps not many churches want to stump up cold, hard cash for a listing in Yellow Pages and similar? Obviously some psychics and clairvoyants had the foresight to make that investment
I am also a clairvoyant…i can tell that yo have been cursing the yellow pages for the last 24 hours.
Paul- Just about to book for Blah but can’t believe you spent all that time working out the yellow pages to book Jamaica street when you could have booked The New Place!
